Til New Years Night

Here's the classic Hanson rock n' roll Christmas song of the album! It reminds me of Everybody Knows the Claus in it's creativity and fast-paced beat. It's really fun to jam to while baking some holiday goodies (or working those goodies off on the treadmill ;) It's a perfect "Ike song" too, suits him well!

I guess live versions are all we're going to get....

I got my invitation December 25
Split a taxi with an Eskimo to North Pole Drive
Told the driver I don't wanna be late
Can you go a little faster
Drop me off at the gate

I need a totty for my body
'Cause, baby, it's cold outside

Knocked on the door,
"Hello, Mrs. Claus."
Ruby red lips like the Wizard of Oz
Two wooden soldiers they're checking the list
And everybody's dancing to the peppermint twist
Gonna do it right,
This ain't no silent night

Once we get Santa on his sleigh, on his sleigh
We play rock'n'roll from Christmas 'til New Years Day
One week a year we do it right, do it right
We play rock'n'roll from Christmas 'til New Years Night
Rock'n'roll
Rock'n'roll

Somebody please spike the eggnog bowl
'Cause we need some lubrication for this rock'n'roll
This's so hard, I stepped on an elf
So many Christmas goodies I can't help myself
Saying "Ho, ho, ho!" under the mistletoe

And once we get Santa on his sleigh, on his sleigh
We play rock'n'roll from Christmas 'til New Years Day
One week a year we do it right, do it right
We play rock'n'roll from Christmas 'til New Years Night
Rock'n'roll
Rock'n'roll
We play rock'n'roll from Christmas 'til New Years Night, yeah, c'mon

Rudolf's playing reindeer games
Nick is shouting out their names
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen
Santa's coming down the chimney
Everybody, sing it with me

Once we get Santa on his sleigh, on his sleigh
We play rock'n'roll from Christmas 'til New Years Day
One week a year we do it right, do it right
We play rock'n'roll from Christmas 'til New Years Night
Rock'n'roll
Rock'n'roll
Rock'n'roll
Rock'n'roll
We play rock'n'roll from Christmas 'til New Years Night

MERRCHRISTMAS!!
