HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Thursday, November 26, 2015

I have LOVED doing this Hanson Gratitude Challenge! It has really made me think why I love Hanson so much and what makes them so special to me personally. What makes them different from all the rest.

I hope everyone who celebrates had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! I for sure did! I loved getting to spend time with my family. They are the greatest blessing in my life and I am so THANKFUL for them! I know I am so blessed! I was able to enjoy a huge Thanksgiving feast and eat until I was stuffed! I was able to watch the Macey's Thanksgiving Day parade, listen to Christmas music, watch movies, put together a puzzle and play games with my family, in a warm, safe and comfortable home. I am grateful for ALL of these things! There is SO MUCH to be THANKFUL for!!

I know this is NOT a Hanson song but it is BEAUTIFUL and is the PERFECT song for this glorious holiday!

Somedays we forget
To look around us
Somedays we can't see
The joy that surrounds us
So caught up inside ourselves
We take when we should give.
So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be.
And on this day we hope for
What we still can't see.
It's up to us to be the change
And even though we all can still do more
There's so much to be thankful for.

Look beyond ourselves
There's so much sorrow
It's way too late to say
I'll cry tomorrow
Each of us must find our truth
It's so long overdue

So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be
And every day we hope for
What we still can't see
It's up to us to be the change
And even though we all can still do more
There's so much to be thankful for.
Even with our differences
There is a place we're all connected
Each of us can find each other's light
So for tonight we pray for
What we know can be
And on this day we hope for
What we still can't see
It's up to us to be the change
And even though this world needs so much more

There's so much to be thankful for
